Today, Economic and Trade Policy at the Embassy of Finland (Business Finland<\/a>) in Tokyo,\u00a0Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting Co.,Ltd.<\/a>, and Economic & Tourism Affairs Bureau of SapporoCity signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) .<\/p>\n

Back in 2019, Sapporo City launched a project \u201cStartup City Sapporo<\/a>\u201d to focus on providing startup support. It is critical for startups to go global and scale, and for Sapporo City & Hokkaido to facilitate this effort by collaborating with international startup support institutions and international governmental organizations.<\/p>\n

With the support of Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting Co.,Ltd. having access to an extensive network in the Nordic region, this MoU seeks to further develop the startup community between Sapporo, Hokkaido & Finland.<\/p>\n

For Sapporo City, this is the very first MoU to be executed with an international institution, and all parties will actively:<\/p>\n
