There was no program to bridge them. In order to initiate our activity, we received some public funding from\u00a0<a class=\"af xd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techfunding.eu\/nordic-innovation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener ugc nofollow\">Nordic Innovation<\/a>\u00a0and we teamed up with Innovation and Tourism in Denmark. We have a matchmaking arena, international network and an incubator program.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"de46\" class=\"aix wq qt bf wr aiy aiz dv mh aja ajb dx ml wc ajc ago agr wg ajd ags agv wk aje agw agz ajf bk\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Incubator program for TravelTech startups<\/h2>\n<p id=\"f4a7\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph vr vs qt vt b vu wy vw vx vy wz wa wb wc xa we wf wg xb wi wj wk xc wm wn wo gb bk\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">We have two focus scraps \u2014 one is \u201cfundraising\u201d part in collaboration with\u00a0<a class=\"af xd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.startupnorway.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener ugc nofollow\">Startup Norway<\/a>\u00a0that has been developing the fundraising opportunities for startups for the last decade. Another part is \u201ctraction\u201d part where you go specifically to the travel industry. Inbound tourists travel abroad and we are eligible to get tax refund \u2014 we are partnering up with over 40,000 stores in Europe.<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"5759\" class=\"wp wq qt bf wr me ws mf mh mi wt mj ml ja wu jb je mo wv mp ms mt ww mu mx wx bk\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Why Hokkaido?<\/h1>\n<p id=\"ac28\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph vr vs qt vt b vu wy vw vx vy wz wa wb wc xa we wf wg xb wi wj wk xc wm wn wo gb bk\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">In the platform that we envision, obviously we see a lot of tourists coming to Hokkaido for skiing but when we look at local businesses, how can we help and empower them? We often see people, stores or local businesses not having the capabilities or the funding to maximize the opportunities.
